Termes and conditions of reservations

Article 1 – Chambres d’hôtes (Suites)

At the time of your online reservation, we will send you an email with next steps to confirm your reservation. The location will be effective when we will receive :

At the reservation time:

  • Signed and approved notification of the Chambre d’hôtes Seasonal Rent Contract (Art. 3) and Internal Regulation (IR) acceptance
  • Payment as per Booking Policy

At the arrival time:

  • Payment of deposit as per Security Deposit Policy

Price includes: Housekeeping and tourist tax. Bed sheets and laundry. Breakfast. Piscine, Jacuzzi, Petanque and Bikes. Any extra service you add to the reservation package.

Booking Policy:

  • By Bank Trasfer, we accept for reservations 15 days prior to arrival. We expect to receive 50% of the amount of the stay by 3 days from the time of reservation otherwise we will cancel your stay, the remaing 50% will be paid at the arrival.
  • By Credit Card, you will pay 100% of the amount of the stay at the time of your reservation, refund is submitted to cancellation policy
  • By Cash at the arrival only if the date of arrival is equal to the reservation date 

Cancellation policy: 100% refund for cancellations made at least 5 days before check-in and up to one day before for major causeto justify. If you pay by credit card you will receive the full amount less the Transaction fee. Transaction fees for cards will be broken out into multiple regional prices: Standard European cards (most cards including American Express) 1.5% + €0.25. Premium European cards (commercial Visa/Mastercard) 1.9% + €0.25. International cards issued outside of Europe and the UK 3.25% + €0.25. UK cards will be 2.5% + €0.25.

No refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of check-in. Force Majeure: If you cannot travel because of force majeure, you will receive full refund 1 day prior to arrival. 

Security Deposit Policy: A security deposit up to 150 EUR for chambre d’hôtes is demanded at the arrival and given back at the time of check out after evaluation of the flat inventory.

Article 2 – Gîtes (Flats)

At the time of your online reservation, we will send you an email with next steps to confirm your reservation. The location will be effective when we will receive :

At the reservation time:

  • Signed and approved notification of the Seasonal Gîte Rent Contract (Art. 3) and Internal Regulation (IR) acceptance
  • Payment as per Booking Policy

At the arrival time:

  • Payment of deposit as per Security Deposit Policy

Price includes: Housekeeping and tourist tax. Bed sheets and laundry. Piscine, Jacuzzi, Petanque and Bikes. Any extra service you add to the reservation package.

Article 3 – Seasonal Rent Contract

Article a – This Terms & Conditions are valid for any gîte and/or chambre d’hôte the tenant reserves.

Article bDuration of stay : The tenant will never be able to prolong the duration of the stay without previous written authorisation by at least one manager.

Article cContract Finalization : The reservation will be effective as the interested tenant of the gîte and/or chambre d’hôte will have paid the down payment by bank transfer, or full amount by credit card and signed the rent contract with the Internal Regulation (IR) after booking online. We accept reservation by cash at arrival only if the date of arrival is equal to the reservation date, the rent contract will have to be signed at the arrival the latest. In any case, a copy of the contract must be kept by the tenant.

The rent contract between the parties expressed on this contract cannot be extended, not even partially, to third parties, natural person or legal entity without previous written agreement from the owner or at least one manager.

The breach of the last paragraph can imply the immediate termination of the contract and the expulsion of the tenants from the property at anytime. The tenants are not allowed to ask any remboursement. The price of stay paid by the tenant is kept by the managers.

Article dCancellation by the tenant : The cancellation of the reservation must be notified to the owner or at least to one manager, with acknowledgement of receipt.

d.a) Cancellation before the arrival :

100% refund for cancellations made at least 5 days before check-in (by credit card you will receive the full amount less the payment processing fee, 1,4% full price + 0,25€ for European countries or 2,9% full price + 0,25€ for non European ones). No refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of check-in. Force Majeure: If you cannot travel because of force majeure, you will receive full refund 1 day prior to arrival. 

If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the date of arrival mentioned in the contract, the contract becomes null and the managers can dispose of the chambre d’hôte and/or flat (gîte) as per their convenience. The full price of the stay will be kept by the managers.

d.b) if the stay is shortened by the tenant, the price of stay remains with the managers and no remboursement can be considered.

Article e – Cancellation by the owner or at least one manager : the managers must give back to the tenant the full price of the stay.

Article f – Arrival and Departure : The tenant must arrive during the timeframe agreed (between 4pm and 9pm of the arrival day). The Departure is mandatory by 11am of departure date. In case of arrival delay, arrival at different times, or departure delay, the tenant must alert at least one manager in advance.

Article g – Inventory : The inventory refers to the website pictures and description of the Chambre and/or gîte. This inventory is the only reference in case of dispute.

g.a) Managers have the responsibility to guarantee the cleanliness of the chambre d’hôte and/or flat (gîte) at the tenant arrival. If the state of cleanliness of the chambre d’hôte and/or flat (gîte) is inappropriate, the tenant must report it to the manager. The housekeeping of the property areas is the owner or managers responsibility.

g.b) At the departure, it’s tenant responsibility to leave the chambre d’hôte and/or flat (gîte) as they found at the arrival. In case of abnormal use, damage or exceptional soiling of the flat or property areas by the tenant, the cost of housekeeping will be ribilled to the tenant.

Article h – Security Deposit : At the arrival of the tenant, a security deposit up to € 300 for the gîtes and 150 € for the chambre d’hôtes can be requested by the owner or a manager. After the evaluation of the inventory before the leaving of the tenant, the security deposit must be returned. In case of abnormal use, damage, exceptional soiling or any kind of degradation of the room and/or flat and shared areas, the cost of reconstitution will be deducted from the security deposit.

In case of anticipate departure (before the hour mentioned on this contract) preventing the supervision of the flat inventory the same day of departure of the tenant, the security deposit is sent back to the tenant with a delay of a week the latest.

Article i – Full remboursement for any damage due to the non respect of the internal regulation (IR) : The tenant must fully rembourse any damage due to the missed respect of the internal regulation shared and agreed at the time of reservation.

Article l – Usage of areas : The tenant must ensure the correct use of the flats gîtes and/or chambre d’hôtes according to the standard usage of a seasonal stay.

Article m – Capacity : These terms are established for a fixed number of people. If the number of tenants exceed the number of people agreed on these terms, the owner or the managers can refuse to host the additional people. A breach of the contract is considered as tenant choice. In this case, no remboursement is considered.

Article n – Animals : If the pets are of a small and middle size (<25Kg), the tenant can stay with a pet during the stay. In case of missed respect of this clause, the owner or the managers can refuse the stay of the tenant at the property. In this case, no remboursement is considered.

Article o – Insurances : The tenant is responsible of all the damages caused to the property. He must be insured.

Article p – Payment of bills : The bills of water, electricity are included within the price of rental for a normal usage. In case of abnormal use, the charges can be rebilled to the tennant.

Article q – Litigation : All the litigations regarding the rent contract will be dealt by the court of competence under the french legislation.
