Le Mas Blanc in Uzès dates back to the 18th century and its remarkable history from the French revolution to the second World War to nowadays will make you time traveling. A curious anecdote involves the dovecote of the building approved by Louis XVI. Other stories go back to the second World War when the property went through difficult times. We believe Le Mas Blanc Uzès can contribute not only to a relaxing vacation experience but also to an inspiring one.
The history begins in 1770. It was a farm when Paul Aubrespy, an entrepreneur, the creator and director of the licorice brand Zan, decided to buy the property in the XIX century.
Paul Aubresby left Le Mas Blanc Uzès to her daughter Mathilde, who will pass then to her daughter Madeleine Fabre, who did the same with her daughter Katherine who married Jean Damon. Today, it belongs to Cedric M. Damon. He was the first to start the restoration of the provence villa in a lodging. He has always worked with his family to restore and preserve the history of the place in a 45 years life project.
Today, Emma and Lorenzo, Cedric’s daughter and his husband, left their careers to concentrate their full time energies to develop the provence villa even more. They are passionate about art and they want to transform the villa into an authentic provençal artist house.
Le Mas Blanc Uzès is the result of the history of a family who put all the love to transform the provence villa into a magic place for any traveler worldwide.
